Having first uncovered the potential of Stack Streaming nearly a decade ago, iFan Sports Network‘s Craig Morrisey admits they are always learning more about what the platform has to offer.
Back in 2004, iFan Sports Network began streaming video for local high schools and colleges around Wisconsin, covering as many sports as it was possible to do.
They have broadcasted the likes of basketball and soccer, right through to motocross and ice hockey, and show no signs of slowing down as the platform continues to rise in popularity.
They moved to Stack Streaming in 2014 and have been trusting us with their broadcasting requirements ever since.
Currently they are using their streaming platform, as well as archiving past streams for reviewing and the ability to purchase. Stack Streaming’s pay-per-view functionality has also been utilized for some special events.
Up to 4-5 streams currently run through iFan Sports Network’s channels each week, with multiple broadcasts on each of those days.
With potential development of the platform to come during the months and years ahead, they are happy to be working with an organization tailored to dealing with rapid increases in demand.
“We are still learning more of what the platform has to offer, which seems like everyday,” Morrisey said.
“Stack Streaming has been very good for us, both in terms of ease of use and also setting up and streamlining our broadcasts. The ability to scale for different amounts of viewers is nice, as we don’t have to worry about anything changing for bigger events.
“We also like having the control of our own broadcasts and archives, and being able to use the Stack Streaming analytics functionality to help make decisions.”
